Stunk up the place?
He took you out of the garbage!
And Sparano and Gaine went with him when he saved you from extinction!
they want someone that, they are familiar with.
if You start with, a known factor, it makes rebuilding a team much easier and, faster because, everybody is pretty much thinking alike.
Stunk up the place??? It’s his placement of people that got the team where it is today!!! IF Dallas pays the coaches enough dough then they will stay. So pony up the cash if you want to keep them.
He knows them and they have pretty much the same philosophy when it comes to football. And he did not stink up the place, the Cowboys would have been better off had he been the coach this year.
Most coaches take people they know, respect, have similar philosophies, and feel comfortable with. Coaches also tend to use their old playbook, so assistants who already know it tend to get jobs with the new team. That’s why when someone gets a head coaching job, they often take others from their old team with them.
Yeah, it sucks when you lose half your coaching staff, but some remaining coaches will be promoted. I think teams that promote coaches instead of transplanting them tend to do better.
Because they are comfortable with their former assistance & he knows that those assistants know he expects & how he wants things done.
